CCPC Office Reopening Social / Fundraiser

CCPC Office Reopening Social / Fundraiser Wednesday, June 8 from 5 to 7 pm @ CCPC Office, 11910 Detroit Ave. Lakewood 44107. Many of us haven’t seen each other live since the Pandemic began over two years ago. We thought it would be good to get together for a social event at our new look office to celebrate its reopening with food, beverages and some great conversation. If you can bring a donation that would be great, If not please come anyways. If you can’t make it but can donate, please click here or mail a check made out to Cuyahoga County Progressive Caucus at 11910 Detroit Ave. Lakewood 44107.

Cleveland Jobs With Justice 2022 Spring Celebration

2022 Virtual Spring Celebration This year Cleveland Jobs With Justice is going to recognize workers who are Building Power for Worker Justice by running organizing campaigns and striking to improve their rights in the workplace. Join us Thursday, May 26 @ 6;30 pm to hear from workers who are building Power for Worker Justice here in Cleveland and across the country. Hear the stories from Starbucks, Amy’s Kitchen and other workers organizing Unions and striking for improved conditions in the workplace. Immigration Court Monitors Needed

Immigration Working Group CLE is looking for volunteer Court Monitors to observe and record proceedings in the Immigration Court in Cleveland. We plan to use the information to update the initial report that was released in 2020, The Cleveland Immigration Court is located in the Federal Courthouse at 801 W. Superior Avenue, Suite 1300 in Cleveland. The ask is that you commit at least one morning or afternoon every couple of weeks when the project resumes, hopefully by the end of June. Within the next few weeks we will provide training for new volunteers as well as a refresher course for previous volunteers. We will give you everything you will need to monitor the court and continue to work with you after the training. Please fill out this google form to get on the list for the upcoming training.
